This years company Christmas party!

Yesterday we visited Stolpaberga for our annual traditional christmas party.

High in spirit we the evening with wine tasting with goldstar-Lisa, where taste and the combination of food and wine were the main theme. As our glasses content decreased our knowledge increased, hopefully with a corresponding rate.

Then the actual cooking began. A never-ending stream of sliced vegetables, bubbling pots, melted butter, seasoned meat and wine and beer was handled masterfully by the seven aliens.

The four dishes were cooked by 3 teams with no internal competion whatsoever. The results surprised even the legendary Peter J Skogström. After no blood, no sweat and no tears, it was time to sit down and eat and get our reward for the hard work. With each of the different courses we where served carefully selected, by Lisa, and exemplary good wines.

Scanians and good food are like clay and long straw (a swedish expression), it becomes a symbiosis, a conviviality that is difficult to surpass. Every bite and sip was an explosion of taste mixed with a bit of umami here and there.

After dinner, we retired to the top floor for some stronger products and deep discussions on how to take over the earth.
